How many baseball stadiums have a huge dome right behind the out feild. None. It is original if you ever see a picture of Rosenblatt looking at the out feild you know exactly what feild it is.

Building the new stadium is another way for our city to move forward and progress. This event brings in much needed money to businesses all around omaha, and i’m sure would feel the burden if the college world series was moves somewhere else. This new stadium would bring even more life to our beautiful downtown. Change may be hard, but it is a must.

John could not agree with you more.We need to make sure the city council votes for the new staduim.I have talked to them,only one has said no.they others are going to vote yes or wait to see the cost to the city.All I can say is that we all need to call or e-mail the city council to get our point across.Im willing to pay for the parking,im willing to have some of our taxes pay for part of the new staduim.I can’t wait for the new staduim to be built.I only can hope that our Mayor is not recalled,Mayor Fahey has done a great job for our city.
Build it they will come from miles around to see our new staduim.

Lets build this new stadium. The people against building this new stadium downtown don’t understand facts. So i will give them one. We need to build this new stadium downtown this way the CWS is always in Omaha. If you tear down Rosenblatt and rebuild there, The CWS will have to leave for a year or so. So if you are against a new stadium downtown, GET WITH THE PROGRAM

I am attached to Rosenblatt and originally was opposed to the proposed new stadium, but now that we have detailed plans I think a new stadium is a good idea. It will be good for the CWS and also for the zoo. Change is always hard but it’s important to not let our fear of change hurt Omaha and it’s ability to florish.
